The Federal High Court seated in Abuja just sacked Sen. Dr. Andy Uba as Anambra APC candidate in a suit filed before the court by Chief Dr. George Muoghalu (Ohamadike).
Recall that in the build up to the Anambra 2021 Gubernatorial Election, Dr. George Muoghalu approached the court with the prayers that APC have no candidate in Anambra State Gubernatorial Election 2021; following the way and manner the primaries was conducted only in the presence of Sen. Andy Uba to the exclusion or detriment of other candidates.
Though we gathered that candidate like Bennett Etiaba conceded defeat , but ten others described the primaries as jamboree including Sen. Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige who remains the highest ranking officer of the party in Anambra State.
Today, the court after a careful perusal of the evidence tabled before her by Muoghalu strongly affirmed in her ruling that APC have no candidate in Anambra State Gubernatorial Election 2021. What this simply means is that the case Sen. Andy Uba tabled before the Anambra State Election Tribunal may die prematurely as the party has no candidate in the just concluded election.
Obviously, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo who pulled the highest number of votes in the just concluded Anambra State Gubernatorial Election remains the undisputed Governor Elect of Anambra State.
