Hon. Chris Usulor, a Governorship Aspirant in Ebonyi has tipped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to retake the Governorship seat of the state from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Usulor, who is the Lawmaker representing Ezza South state constituency in the State House of Assembly, said that the party will win the 2023 elections in the state.
Usulor, a three term emember of the Assembly said that over 80 percent of the APC members in the state are ready to defect to the PDP to support his governorship ambition.
"I am more experienced than other governorship aspirants in the state.
"It is also worthy of note that Nigerians are desirous that the PDP takeover power from the ruling APC, both at the presidency and in Ebonyi state.
"You can see that everybody is yearning for a change and expecting PDP to takeover the leadership of the country.
"The citizens only know about the Peoples Democratic Party in Ebonyi as it is a tradition and institionalised in the state.
"The All Progressive Congress are at the helm of affairs on a temporary bases and unless it rigs the forthcoming elections, PDP will win in every Local Government areas of the state,".
He said that the PDP would not plan rigging or cause violence during the elections but would not watch if they are pushed to the wall.
"The next governor of the state can come from either Ezza or Izzi, the two major clans in Abakaliki bloc yet to produce a governor but the Ezza Clan which is the eldest of Ezekuna should be allowed to rule,".
Usulor, who is from Ezza clan, said he will run an all inclusive governor if he is elected as governor.
"I am going to be the next governor of Ebonyi state. And I am going to achieve that through mass mobilization, sensitization, campaigning and lobbying.
