Hon. Victor Nwoke has been declared the winner of Abakaliki North Constituency under the platform of the People's Democratic Party in Ebonyi State.
Announcing the result, the chairman of the electoral committee, Mr Abira Solomon Abira, said that Nwoke, having polled thirteen votes to defeat his closest rival being, Mr Ugochukwu Ojike who scored five votes, was declared a winner.
He noted that the conducted exercise was free, fair and credible devoid of rancour and acrimony.
In his remarks, Hon Nwoke commended members of the electoral committee for the peaceful and transparent election.
Nwoke who also thanked PDP faithful and his teaming supporters for standing by him urged Mr Ojike to join forces with him to liberate the constituency.
