As the political circuit in Nigeria is fully charged ahead of the forthcoming general election, politicians across the country have continued to canvas for support from all and sundry in the country.
Given the above, the apex Igbo Socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide has revealed their unalloyed support for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party and the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi ahead of the 2023 polls.
The group reiterated its commitment to ensuring that Obi emerge victorious come 2023 noting that in the present deteriorating situation of the country, Nigeria needs a technocrat like Peter Obi.
Ohanaeze encouraged all the Igbo leaders to adopt Obi as their sole presidential candidate.
The group also eulogized the relentless efforts of the youths towards good governance.
The stance of Ohanaeze was made known in a statement that was released and signed by the Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro Who is the Secretary-General of the group and made available to the journalist in Abakaliki.
