The president of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo group in Lagos State revealed that they will support the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
The information was revealed by the president of the group, Chief Solomon Aguene in Lagos during a telephone conversation with Punch Newspaper last Thursday. He said that the Ohanaeze Ndigbo group want Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a second term and they are ready to support his presidential candidate.
He disclosed that Babajide Sanwo-Olu is their candidate and it is also important to ensure that the same party is ruling at the presidency level. He said this will benefit them as they value Governor Sanwo-Olu so much.
He also said that Igbo's highest population and investment in the world are in Lagos and that since Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is taking care of them, Ndigbo as a group is also ready to support Bola Tinubu, his presidential candidate.
