It is saddening for one to remember the struggles of our forefathers and how Ndigbo would have been emancipated but sabotage kept us back from progressing. The sabotage we are talking about is no different from the activities of our Igbo brothers who were paid to expose the plans and actions of our people. This may sound like a story but it is real. Whenever a traitor collects money to betray his people, a loophole for the advancement is created.
The activities of Gov. Hope Uzodimma, Orji Kalu, Ken Nnamani, Uju Ohanaenye and others at the convention are pure sabotage of the mandate of Ndigbo. Ken Nnamani and Uju Ohanaenye displayed the worst political treacherous character by stepping down for people from other regions even when the ovation of Igbo marginalization is high. They looked at the faces of the millions of IGBOS crying for freedom and sold them out to the people of other regions. Shame !!!
Hope Uzodimma and Orji Kalu through their aides were busy monitoring the delegates as to where they will vote. Uzodimma lured Imo and Enugu delegates to vote for Tinubu whereas Kalu lured the Abia and Anambra delegates to vote for Lawan. This caused most of the Igbo aspirants to get either one or zero votes. All because of money. Even the delegates that are being used to achieve these aims will not claim deaf ears to the marginalization of Ndigbo in Nigeria that has led to various agitations like Sit-At-Home and others. What a shame to them. It is written that after betraying Jesus, Judas Iscariot could not use the money for anything meaningful; may such a curse follow all those people that collected money to betray Ndigbo.
However, Ebonyi delegates distinguished themselves among others by delivering all their 39 votes to the course of Ndigbo. They have proven to the world that they are the real IGBOS who say something and stand by it.
