The entire officials and members of Asiwaju Project Beyond 2023, Ebonyi State Chapter, have congratulated their principal and the APC presidential flag bearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinub on his victory at the party's presidential convention.
The group in its congratulatory message which was signed by its State Coordinator - Comrade Emmanuel Victor Nweze and the Publicity Secretary - Comrade Victor C. Nwegede, described Alhaji Tinubu as an indomitable National leader of the All Progressives Congress, following his overwhelming victory as the 2023 APC Presidential Candidate in the just concluded presidential primary of the party last Wednesday in Abuja.
The group while jubilating for Tinubu's victory, thanked God who, they said had perfected the exercise to their favour because the antecedents of their Principal have continued to speak volumes and as the only expectation Nigerians have been waiting for, to fix the nation as a leader who had impacted positively many lives in every breadth and length of the country.
"Your Excellency, indeed, your victory is an avowal of the widely-acknowledged sterling accomplishments and a source of encouragement and hope for many Nigerians who strive to witness your leadership qualities. This victory is surely an expression of confidence the teeming party members and leaders have in the capacity of Alhaji Bola Tinubu to push our country to an enviable height," part of the goodwill message read.
The group also appreciated 'the delegates of the APC across the nation, for having made a prudent nomination for the party and of course the entire Nigerians, by electing a leader whose impacts have widely affected lives positively. We sincerely thank you for choosing capacity without conceding to tribal politics. We commend you for putting the future of Nigeria first. Thank you for putting the unity of the country above all other emotions, groups and individual interests.'
It read further: "For this unique act, we commend the APC delegates and all the party members because they deserve praise for not only conducting themselves in an orderly manner but for ensuring that their choices are expressed freely, fairly, and unreservedly.
"We also commend the security agencies and INEC for the successful conclusion of the exercise despite the preliminary challenges and booby traps experienced.
"To all the other contenders of this keenly contested election to demonstrate sportsmanship by accepting the outcomes without bitterness or resentment for in every competition, someone has to win and someone has to lose, but those who lose should not abandon the party or lose their enthusiasm for the advancement of the party.
"Once more, we congratulate our Boss, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for standing tall in the comity of our great Nation, with an outstanding vision to build youths, women and all the citizens. Your emergence as the Presidential Flag Bearer of the ruling APC in Nigeria has shown your true picture of responsibility, hard work, your unhidden love for youths, skill, capacity, tenacity and bravery to build a greater Nigeria come 2023.
"Sir, with your massive admirers and supporters as a dogged Leader of our great nation, who had recorded tremendous impacts in the past, and proceeds to demonstrate that you are competent in facing horrendous issues at this terrible time in the country, we know you might have inferred, evaluated and mulled over the favourable paths for Nigeria, following your experience as a widely known leader by the citizens, which will simplify your emergence in 2023 general election as the President of the country.
