Ebonyi State Chapter of the Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation, AGF - the umbrella body of the Project Beyond 2023 for Alhaji Bola Tinubu Presidency has begun to muster its energy to ensure all the candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the forthcoming general elections return victoriously.
The group which held its statewide meeting, Monday at Ezza South Local Government Headquarters, Onueke, expressed its readiness to deliver all the Ebonyi APC candidates including the gubernatorial, state and national assembly flag bearers come 2023 polls.
In his remark, the Ebonyi State Coordinator of the AGF expressed joy over the overwhelming victory of the principal of the group, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and described him as a leader who has irresistible supporters in all parts of Nigeria and beyond.
According to the State Publicity Secretary of the organisation, Comrade Victor C. Nwegede, in a statement issued on Monday, Comrade Nweze said, following Asiwaju Tinubu's victory at the just concluded APC presidential convention, the group would not delay kicking off a grand rally for all the flag bearers of the party in Ebonyi State.
The State Coordinator commended the Chairman of Ezza South Council Area and the 2023 APC Senatorial Candidate for Ebonyi Central Zone, Engr Ken Eze for permitting the organization to hold its meeting at the local government Secretariat, with other assistance induced to ensure the success of the gathering.
It was gathered that the members of the organization have mapped out strategies to ensure the smooth running of its programs, pointer among them was to secure the victory of their principal, Tinubu and all the APC candidates in the state.
"AGF in Ebonyi has also appointed its state patrons and concluded plans to carry out familiarisation visits to the leaders, stalwarts and candidates of the APC in the state, for profitable chat and arrangement against the 2023 electioneering activities and their target for the party success come 2023 elections.
"In attendance were the state, zonal and local government executives and members of the AGF, Ebonyi State Chapter," part of the statement read.
