The member representing Ohaozara, Onicha and Ivo (Ohanivo) Federal Consistency, Hon Livinus Makwe, has won the PDP ticket to re-contest his position come 2023 general elections.
Makwe won the ticket during the party's primary election which took place at the Ogadinma town hall Ishiagu in Ivo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
Our correspondent reports that the exercise was attended by some Stakeholders of Ohanivo.
It was gathered that out of the three aspirants only Chief Linus Make was present while Ani Chinedu Felix and Jerry Okechukwu were absent.
Announcing the results the chairman electoral Committee for the House of Representatives, Chief Chika Nwafor said the Livinus Makwe got 93 delegates votes, Ani Chinedu Felix nil votes While Jerry Okechukwu got one vote.
In his acceptance speech, following his victory, Chief Make who is the member representing the Ohanivo Federal constituency appreciated the delegates for the confidence they have in him while making a solemn promise never to fail them.
Meanwhile, Okinawa Agu-Ajali has won the PDP ticket for the Ivo seat in Ebonyi State House of Assembly with 33 delegates votes.
