The Action Alliance Governorship candidate in Ebonyi state, Engr Chukwuma Nwandugo has tasked Muslims to imbibe the spirit of love and tolerance.
Nwandugo made the call in his Eid Mubarak felicitation message to Muslim families in Abakaliki on Monday.
According to the governorship candidate, the moment has served as a time to renew love among the people.
He commended Muslim families in the state for their contributions to the development of the Ebonyi state and assured them of effective representation if emerged as Governor of the state in the upcoming general election.
The former Commissioner for Works and Transport charged Muslim faithful in the state to continue promoting religious tolerance for the overall interest of the country.
He also called on the people to obtain their permanent voter cards to enable them to participate fully in the upcoming general election.
