Ebonyi State Governorship Candidate on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has assured of massive youth empowerment for the youth wings if emerged the Chief Servant of the State in 2023.
It was another occasion which availed him the opportunity of mentioning one of his key intended spotlights, should he become Governor – Youth Empowerment
Nwifuru, the two-term serving Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly made this promise on Monday while addressing the youths of Ebonyi Central Senatorial District during their courtesy visit to him at his Abakaliki residential quarters.
Leo Ekene Oketa, the Chief Press Secretary to the Honourable Speaker in a statement, said, the youth group used the opportunity to express their unflinching support and solidarity ahead of the 2023 polls for his principal.

Nwifuru also assured Ebonyians, that if elected as the Governor of Ebonyi State, come 2023, he would handle with care, the mandate entrusted to him by the people.
He expressed his unalloyed appreciation to the youths for their massive mobilization and support, and however, charged them to always go about their activities peacefully, devoid of rancour, to prove their critics wrong.

Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru assured his august visitors, that as a youthful and useful Gubernatorial Candidate, it will be his responsibility to repay to the people, the goodwill, trust, efforts and energy which they exerted in this assignment, by working for Ebonyians, making them proud, empowering them to make their lives better.
He encouraged them to earn the trust of their people, by going to convince their parents, brothers and sisters of the need to give him their votes.
He equally enjoined them to continue to pray and thank Governor David Nweze Umahi for ensuring that youths take the centre stage of leadership in Ebonyi State.
In thanking them for their warm visit, Nwifuru said, “I am a reliable leader and I’ll handle your mandate with care.”
Earlier in his opening remarks, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Leader, Comrade Enyi Franklin Nkemjika (Zanza) praised the dexterity of Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru. He assured him that their visit was in solidarity with the 2023 project, to tell him that he is their sole candidate for the Gubernatorial election in Ebonyi State, come 2023.
