Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo's emergence as the Deputy Director General, Research and strategy of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential campaign council has continued to culling regard and beautiful wishes from people and groups of goodwill.
Nwodo’s appointment was made known last week when the PDP unveiled the list of their 2023 Presidential campaign council.
A political support and mobilization group, Enugu Mass Movement for Atiku (EMMOFA), has congratulated him on the recent appointment, wishing him God's wisdom and strength to distinguish himself in the office.
EMMOFA Director General, Okey Ugwu, in a statement, described Nwodo as a rare personality of focus describing his appointment as a round peg in a round hole.
He further described the former Enugu state Governor as an experienced leader who has the most compelling credentials to head the position. “We consider it a privilege to congratulate you on the recent appointment as Deputy Director General, Research and strategy of the PDP Presidential campaign council.
“Your appointment is a testament to your political sagacity laced with experience, capacity, and competencies required to head such a sensitive position in the Presidential campaign council. This noble national assignment, therefore, requires the leadership and coordination of a person with unquestionable character, unshakeable integrity, vast political experience and honest understanding of our diversity.”
They pledged to support him to ensure he succeeds in the new responsibility, and also mobilize massive vote and support for the Atiku Abubakar candidacy and agenda.
EMMOFA also commended the leadership of PDP and its Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, for rewarding the enormous hard work Dr Nwodo has done for the party on state, national and global stages which, the group said, dated back from his days as National secretary and national chairman of the party.
