Governor David Nweze Umahi on Friday visited the Ekeaja Market in Uburu recently blown off by windstorm.
Chooks Oko, the Special Assistant to Governor Umahi on Media and Strategy made this known in a press release on Friday.
The Governor during the visit inspected the rehabilitation work ongoing on the affected open market stall building.
Governor Umahi on arrival was greeted by jubilant Market women who danced in appreciation of his timely intervention.
It would be recalled that the State Government Executive recently released the sum of eighteen million naira as compensation to the victims of the building collapse.
