Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), NSUK Chapter, Monday honoured the Nasarawa State Commissioner of Justice and Attorney-General, Dr Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana with an award of excellence.
The union Chairman, Comrade Sam Alu presented the award when he led other officials on a courtesy visit to the Commissioner and former colleague at his office in Lafia.
Also honoured by the union was the Commissioner of Science and Technology, Professor Umar Mukailu Gurku for exemplary leadership.
Guru was until he was appointed Commissioner the Dean, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences of the Keffi-based state-owned university, NSUK.
