The 55th Course for Young African Journalists has ended in Cairo, Egypt with a call on African journalists to promote the good culture of Africa.
22 countries including Egypt attended the training course at the Egyptian ministry of information, Cairo.

The training course which featured different training programs from different sectors of the Egyptian Government was intended to educate young African journalists on how to report different cases in Africa.
The participants also visited different museums in various cities in Egypt, the new Egyptian Administrative city, the American University Cairo, the Egyptian production company, a syndicate of Egyptian Journalists, and other media houses.
In her keynote address at the closing ceremony, the section leader and Nigerian representative Nnenna Oshibe of Ebonyi Broadcasting Corporation - EBBC harped on Rebirth as the panacea for National Transformation. The African journalists appreciated the Egyptian government and also appealed to other African countries to assist young journalists to embrace the act of investigative journalism.
