Socio-political organisation known as Obi-Datti Carrally in the Southeastern region of Nigeria on Monday unveiled its plan to hold over 100 automobile solidarity march for the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and his running mate, Ahmed Datti in Ebonyi State.

He said that the automobile march would be held simultaneously in all the five states of the Southeastern region of the country.
"In southeast Nigeria, it would be observed in Imo, Abia, Anambra, Enugu, and Ebonyi State respectively; which would be held on the 26th of November 2022, and as part of my responsibilities as the regional and Ebonyi State Coordinator, I would be leading the Ebonyi State Carrally," he stated.
Comrade Ozurumb while commending the National Convener of the organisation, Comrade George Esere, said the members of the group would toured all the parts of the Ebonyi State under his watch.
He said the Obi-Datti Carrally would "be a fun-filled day for the group to sensitize the people on the need to come out on election day and vote for Peter Obi as Nigeria's president in 2023, because Nation building is everyone's business, and there's a need to get everyone involved."
Earlier, Comrade Ozurumb said: "We intend to unveil our upcoming activities at Obi Datti Carrally support group for our principal, who is the Labor Party presidential candidate, His Excellency Dr. Peter Obi and his running mate, Dr. Ahmed Yusuf Datti."
He said the unveiling of the group's activities has become necessary because the event would be happening simultaneously across the 36 States in the country, the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja, and Southeast Nigeria in particular.
Comrade Ozurumba who is also the Chief Executive Officer of 'Home of Tight Vetrens Yielding Blessings, said that the Obi-Datti Carrally has been dedicated to the Peter Obi and Ahmed Datti campaign organization.
The group, in his words, would focus on sensitizing and creating awareness for people to vote for the Peter Obi as the most qualified candidate to become the president of our great Nation Nigeria come 2023 by the special grace of God.
The group expressed the belief that Peter Obi has proven capacity and credibility as a leader with sound mind who possesses the required qualifications to tackle the current challenges facing Nigeria as a nation.
According to the group's coordinator, lack of proven capacity and credibility were among issues which have made Nigeria to be going backward instead of moving forward as a nation.
"Gentlemen of the press, you could relate with us clearly when we say that the security of this nation at the moment is nothing to write home about, because you are well informed.
"Also, you all know that our economy is visibly in shambles, the price of things have continued to go hiking and people are hungry, no better business opportunities, no better employment opportunities, our production level is nothing to write home about.
"We keep importing almost everything we consume and we keep depending on other nations to survive, our educational system, health care, and innovation sectors are all deprived of competent and quality leadership, yet, we are the giant of Africa.
"It is therefore important for us to note that to remain the giant, we need to identify and align ourselves with quality leadership, if we truly desire a positive change, we must be confident enough to entrust the mantle of leadership to the youths as leaders of today and not tomorrow.
"This is because the Obi Datti Carally believes strongly that the youths of this country have long been denied access to good governance, and we have decided to canvas for them to come out en mass and take back their Country in 2023.
"The highlight of our event, the Obidatti carally will be on an Automobile convoy, and will not be on foot. This would create a hitch-free campaign for us, devoid of human traffic and congestion.
"The rally would be a 100km car drive slated for 19th, 26th November, and 3rd December 2022, across the 36 states and FCT to get everyone involved in the mission to rescue Nigeria from bad governance," he said.
