Egede Lawrence engraves media accounts on the politics of Nigeria so far.
When the tidal political waves began to roar across the board for the Presidential race towards 2023, it was like a centrifugal whirlwind blowing above the sea level, from the North to the South in bits of round turns.
There were unusual pressures in force to share into two the political size of Nigeria, with a focus on the topmost level at the centre of power.
The major focus point of the national relationship, between the North and the South of Nigeria, was a target.
At the onset, two major political parties in Nigeria were more popularly in vogue, the APC and the PDP being the tools targeted for obscure use.
The rest of the other political parties were a bit silent until the Labour Party came on board.
The run-around movements are ongoing, with the battle of the Titans raging in the political fields at home and abroad.
They are all demanding every attention, recognition, support and solidarity from the masses towards the general elections of 2023.
In the exercise of power and control, the more cool-headed political tactics, especially in the North of Nigeria have been highly diplomatic as usual.
Whichever the case, the handwriting of God will finally decide everything in 2023.
I can see the light where the dark can't behold the light of the next moment shining.
The North of Nigeria has one option of stone in a catapult, perhaps to shoot systemically and catch not less than three colourful flying political birds.
They deployed wisdom to do the needful, knowing the power of division in politics, as being capable of setting those who are more vulnerable into huge competitive fighting.
It was earlier on fashion to their advantage, and then centred on every focus going their direction, anything else admitted outside their aim is merely a privilege in return.
The North is still in charge of its accommodating style of national politics, where all the key politicians seek support, especially at the Presidential seat of power, which is the final resort and the end of the story.
Judging from what is going on right now in the nation's polity, it is gradually moving towards their direction with the topmost focus, but the handwriting of God is going to have the final say for everyone come 2023.
Meanwhile, the International world and their allies, with their usual business interest are now watching closely the wind flow direction of politics in Nigeria.
Let me remind us that as it has always been, our colonial business masters only judge Nigeria's level of economic safety and human security.
They assess Nigeria over the levels of Security, with the rate of attention paid to adequate Transparency of Administration and Economic Accountability.
They know that Nigeria's greatest weak point is found in the political leadership powers that be. No other alternatives.
The colonial masters control and direct the helm of the global political ships, to sail towards their alien point of usual command and comfort.
Look at the way our domestic political debate was flown to the United Kingdom, which was held at the Chatham House in London, signifying that Nigeria is not yet free from the tight grips of political colonialism.
We dance around our flaws in the local political tune of music on the floors of the colonial masters, limping and clutching the crutches of our inability to deliver ourselves from colonial slavery, in which we are driven into lameness.
If not, I humbly want to know how many times did the outside nations come to Nigeria for their political debates, not to talk of the UK coming here?
Well-briefed scholars of very high-level classes of proper civilization are aware, that Nigeria is a colonized nation in all things and out.
Some Nigerians have never been conscious of their freedom, from the hands of colonial business masters.
It seems to me that most Nigerians are enjoying the new and old customs, in the order of the colonial enslavement system.
They seem to live with their ever-growing general appetite, for the old and new consumer culture of dependence on all things foreign about goods and services.
They love boasting about colonial business successes, based on domestic politics on the diplomatic orders of the colonial agents of economic policymaking and decision.
Most of them only want to be at the topmost helm of affairs, because of their private business interest and nothing less than that. No patriotism.
That's why the few affluent ones play politics no matter their age and depend on foreign fronts to approve them to be in control and to the detriment of the nation.
That's why the nation is open to foreign cultures, attracting penchant attention to severe economic ridicules, with all the uncontrollable manners of killer security challenges from all sides bewitching Nigerians.
Meanwhile, just as the human political debate took place in the UK at the Chatham House, so also there is a more powerful debate going on above the earthly Chatham Localities.
It is happening in the Spiritual realms, between the powers of light and the agents of evils and darkness, as it concerns the political future of Nigeria.
The forces of light are saying that time is due for the powers of darkness to leave Nigeria.
This is the effect of the fact that innocent Nigerians should have the freedom to live in peace.
But the powers of darkness involving the wicked human elements, say they won't leave because their time of harvest is not yet fully ended in Nigeria.
That's why the handwriting of God will now enter the political situation of things in Nigeria.
Let's pray fervently, watch out and see how it will happen for the good of all Nigerians, big or small, old and young to save us from the perils and woes of the evils that be in the country.
To God is the glory forever.
