On the media revelations of the supreme powers Of God, Egede Lawrence writes.
If people should know and understand they are mere creatures of the Almighty God, to whom all Creations and Powers belong, they will stop boasting themselves this and that unnecessarily.
We, as human beings have been graciously given limited abilities as privileges by God, just to do what we can at a particular point in time.
It irritates me that in this part of the world called Nigeria, some educated people assumed to be mentally polished, especially the politicians are still fond of boasting about extraordinary vainglorious abilities they have. Let's face the truth now.
Are they trying to tell us that boasting about a load of their extraordinary vainglorious abilities can save Nigeria?
Or rather, are they trying to tell us that their extraordinary vainglorious abilities will become a burden to Nigeria?
And again, are they trying to tell us that they too will become vainglorious burdens to Nigeria, when eventually they become leaders with their boasting?
Despite all the boasting, there was never a time that such people said they called a Conference of any Think-tank group of Experts, from different Schools of thought and packaged their so-called Manifestos.
Upon all our boasting of this and that, I thank God non of us can boast of having created Heaven and Earth and the fullness thereof, otherwise, the fire would have been released from the hot displeasure of God and burned up the whole Universe.
You see, when underrated fellows like us that dwell in public scrutiny talk about people like Governor Umahi, who had his Leadership Manifesto based on Covenant with God, some elements will frown at it because of bias and hatred. Let's face the truth right now.
We have been given the limits we can afford to go by God but not beyond such, no matter the advancement and the boasting about the advantages we think we have.
When our first parents called Adam and Even fell into the trap of temptation, and went beyond the limits that God gave them, it was grievous and regrettable.
This teaching and learning topic is for everyone, who is ready to understand the true language of living with God.
I have come to realize my folly about this and that, concerning me and God and it is a lesson.
This happened especially in my relationship with the things of this world, and those people I have met alive in the process.
I am taught to learn daily the truth about God and mankind, as the truth cannot hide and nobody can hide the truth.
Whoever I am, the truth is not a respecter of anybody, whether a biblical Solomon in wisdom, riches and glamour or a biblical Lazarus in poverty and sordid sickness, all are examples of the experiences in the truth of God and the backgrounds of mankind, no matter the class.
Most of the time we err, it is a Sin against the truth, which tells us it is an offence against God in His laws of good report and a divine clear conscience.
Don't think that error is not the same as sin, because sin is an error interrelated with wrongdoings, like the word blunder.
We are all adjudged equally by God, however, our sins could be, or weighed in the balance of equity, with the open eyes of the truth for justice to be done, no matter our ranks and file in any part of the world where we sojourn. No self-justification.
Let me not justify myself with any excuse of sinlessness for the fact that the Bible said, in the 1st general Epistle of the beloved John chapter 1 verse 8, "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." No self-righteous positioning here for anybody.
Self-justification is to think unaware that we are more righteous than God in our guilt as sinners, which Job in the bible story tried to do but was proved wrong later by God because he argued so blindly.
But on realizing this fact, Job agreed with his arguments that he was after all not righteous and repented. That's what awaits all of us to realize and as well repent.
Self-justification is against the law. This is because it draws us wrongly to seek and possess all things good, in our heart desire to live comfortably at all costs.
Though there's no living being or thing on earth that doesn't struggle to have life and to live it well with fulfilment and joy, as conscious human beings, we need not justify ourselves in all things we think are right with us.
Human beings have got the natural heart desire to continue to live long and to possess every good thing in life as much as it could be readily possible and available, no matter how right or wrong the way and manner it is. Availability is a Priority.
Even the suicide groups who dare to die, if all their wants are not available to satisfy them, do also have the same nature of heart desire for good things.
The suicide groups are those that stop at nothing in gunning for whatever they needed, even if it is criminal over their dead bodies, without minding whose Ox is gored in the process.
Do you know that nonliving things, even trees that do not have sense stand still and are very stable, not to be removed from their steady places of control?
They stand firmly, not minding the consequences following it no matter the resultant effect.
You can imagine nonliving things having to be as where, how much more human beings can consciously desire to do the same, not wanting to lose their stand being firm?
The desire to possess all good things is the error, which is the Sin in which we are noted guilty before God. Let's face the fact here. There's no other method.
The Bible said in the book of Romans chapter 3 verse 23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Sin or error is our yoke of bondage.
Sin is transgression, an overstepping of the law over the divine boundary, between good and evil, an error and a departure from the right, missing the mark with gross iniquity.
Error is Sin, Sin is known as what is wrong, what is wrong is an offence which can make us guilty if it is judged.
It is capable of sentencing us by law to a Jail term or to pay compensation for the damage done, pay a fine for the error, or be committed to death if such an offence is homicidal.
The error takes us away from the truth, endangering our lives and we are dispossessed of the right to possess the good things of life, which we worked for and got, or deserve or have the desire to get.
So that what we got or desire to have or may deserve are lost in the error, which unfortunately runs or ran short of the glory of God, in our quest for all good things of life to come our way in full.
Our error of being sinful incurs a penalty for us in judgement, which can result in death that brings us to the end with many losses. The inventory is intact.
When I take a look every day up at the sky and around me, the first question is who owns what I see? The query is a fact-finding process and a course to know.
In the process and course to know, the answer says to me that everything and all powers are under God in total truth.
We should know that without the truth, we are worth nothing and the life of the Spirit of God is not in us. It is an example.
Let me first make exemplary use of myself and express the problem, which people may not know concerning these facts.
My folly is that most of the time in my so-called innocent excesses, I forget am nothing.
It is when I am struck with this reality which says I am nothing, that my conscience beats me hollow. It happens at all times.
I must tell myself the truth in the first place, before revealing it to others. It is mandatory.
I write to inform other people who are far and next to me, that the truth can't make a delay for itself, or be delayed by anybody not to be revealed to everyone.
The worst imprisonment of the conscience of individuals is to hide the truth, no matter how.
I can't hide the truth because it tells me daily that everything and all powers belong to God.
So, no matter what we hide, what we want, what we think, what we say, what we do and what we have, mark you that everything and all powers are under God. This is the Truth.
As God is in total control over all Creations and Powers, the Truth remains the Winner of the battle against human error.
To God is the glory forever.
