From Victor Nwegede, Abakaliki
The Labour Party (LP) Candidate for Abakaliki/Izzi Federal Constituency, Dr Ezeh Emmanuel Ezeh on Monday kicked off the distribution of brand new motorcycles to his party's designated grassroot canvassers at the different wards and polling units (PU) within his constituency.
Our correspondent gathered that the LP's House of Representatives Candidate popularly known as Immaculate had a few months ago distributed vehicles to different categories of mobilisers and leaders of Immaculate Grassroot Movement (IGM) to facilitate their activities towards the forthcoming 2023 polls in the state.
Dr Ezeh in a press release issued by his Media Director, Louis Nwebonyi, said the decision was in furtherance of his commitment to intensive engagement with the electorate ahead of the Presidential and National Assembly elections on the 25th of February 2023.
Nwebonyi in the release noted that "expectedly, people are not taking his (Ezeh's) uncommon passion for service for granted," saying "their eagerness to have him in the Green Chambers of the National Assembly has been overwhelming."
He upheld that his principal, "Immaculate is in a different class, he is simply ahead of his contemporaries!"
