The lawmaker representing Ohaukwu South in Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Hon Chinedu Onah, has declared the victory of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at the 2023 polls would be a landslide in the state.
Onah gave the assurance earlier Saturday morning at 135 Ezzamgbo, the Ohaukwu Council Headquarters in preparation for the Statewide Local Government APC Rally in the area.
He said the development strides brought to the state by the APC-led government through Governor David Umahi's leadership ingenuity, the Ebonyi citizens would replicate the gesture by voting massively for the candidates of the party in the 2023 polls.
"In considering the leadership impact of our able Governor, His Excellency Engineer David Umahi, I'm confident of the APC's landslide victory in the forthcoming general elections.
"If you had toured round the state, no single village or community that is not giving good testimony of the present administration. The developmental strides of Governor Umahi-led administration are more than enough to campaign for the victory of our party in Ebonyi State.
"APC is already winning and our campaign today is a testimony of the celebration to hold a few weeks now.
"I believe that our party will win a landslide all the elective positions in the forthcoming general elections," he said.
Hon Onah who is seeking a second term reelection into the seat of Ohaukwu South in the State House of Assembly urged his constituents to stand firm with him and all other APC candidates, assuring them of accountability, transparency, accessibility and good governance in office if emerged victorious at the polls.
Recall that Ohaukwu would make it the fourth council area, the APC has taken its Statewide Local Government Rally to, since Wednesday 18th January 2023, the flag-off-day at Iboko, the headquarters of Izzi LGA.
