The Director General of the Divine Mandate Campaign Council, the campaign platform of the APC in Ebonyi State, Austin Umahi has urged Ebonyi citizens to continue throwing their weight behind the gubernatorial candidate aof the party.
The DG while briefing newsmen, Thursday in Abakaliki, maintained that only Nwifurru amongst other Ebonyi gubernatorial candidates has an explicit understanding of the people of the state.
He recalled that the slogan of the APC campaign council remains consolidation and continuity which in his words, implies that Nwifuru from his sixteen years of experience in the political leadership of the state would be able to tackle holistically the comprehensive needs of the citizens if elected governor 2023.
"Try to understand our slogan, APC; we echo renewed hope, consolidation and continuity. As we are consolidating, we will be continuing to do other good works. Our mission is to make sure that everything that needed to be done, is done perfectly. For your question on the agenda of Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for 2023, I will refer you to his manifesto. If you read his manifesto, you would like to make it your second Bible.
"It's because the young man (Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru) has cooled down to do proper articulation, to show you that he is someone who has a holistic comprehension of our society's needs," Umahi said.
Emphasizing the plan towards improving the health, education and other sectors in Ebonyi, the APC Campaign DG said that Nwifuru will continue where the present governor stops to ensure the expectations of the citizens are met in a well-pronounced leadership manner.
