Senator Rabi'u Musa Kwakwanso.
A few days before the 2023 polls, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso played up the kind of candidates Nigerians should vote for and not vote for.
Kwankwaso said Nigerians should not support candidates whose educational certificates are questionable while speaking at a town hall meeting with students in Keffi, Nasarawa State.
The NNPP presidential candidate also warned the electorate against supporting candidates with contention over their age in the March and February general elections.
He advised: “Don’t support people without certificates and who don’t know their age.
“Don’t support people whom, when you ask them about their age, feel insulted, and don’t support people who want to impose people like them.
“It’s very unfortunate that we have a very divided country. I will make WASSCE and NECO free of charge to all Nigerians, like in the past, we will ensure scholarships for students where children of the poor can go to."
