Ebonyi gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii has promised to run all inclusive government noting that the Ezza clan, his maternal lineage would not regret anything if he emerged victorious in the 11th March governorship poll.
Odii who pledged this during the PDP really at Oriuzor in the Ezza North Local Government Area of the State maintained that his government would be the government of the Ezza Nation.
“My government will be the government of Ndi-Ezza, and none of you will regret it if I'm the governor of Ebonyi State." Odii proclaimed this with a joyful disposition while canvassing for massive votes for the PDP candidates in the forthcoming general elections, assuring that he would change the ugly narratives heralded in the state due to the alleged undemocratic governance of the APC.
Dr Odii admitted that he is a grandson of the Ezza clan and that he chose Paulinus Igwe Nwagu, an Ezza son to be his running mate, with no compromise to engage other people from the clan meaningfully in his administration if elected as governor.
He assured that his administration would empower youths and give a high tone of reformation and transformation to education, health and other sectors in the state.
The State PDP Deputy governorship candidate, Senator Paulinus Igwe Nwagu said apart from Dr Odii being a grandson of the Ezza clan, he has distinguished himself as an illustrious son of Ebonyi State both in business and human capacity building and demands massive votes for his victory and other PDP candidates.
On her part, the wife of the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Deborah Odii expressed joy over the unwavering support for her husband and the PDP candidates by the people and assured them of resourceful leadership with a human face.
Also, the PDP Senatorial Candidate for Ebonyi Central Zone, Lazarus Ogbee declared Dr Odii as the only anticipated guber candidate who would emerge victorious in the 11th March governorship poll.
He described the PDP as the people's party that would rescue the nation from the economic catastrophe exacted on the citizens by the alleged ruling APC both at the state and national levels.
He described Dr Odii as the grandson of the Ezza Nation, who had shown his love for his maternal lineage by giving the Ezza son, Senator Igwe Nwagu the chance to be his running mate.
He urged the people to vote for all the PDP candidates from the top to bottom, with the conviction that the state would witness rapid transformation in the most competent hands of leadership, under his watch.
