A foremost judge in Ebonyi state, Justice Vincent Nwali Nwanchor of the state High Court Thursday laid the late father
The burial took place at his country home, Omege Noyo Alike, Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State with encomium on the deceased.
Late Chief Peter Nwanchor Nweke died at the age of 105.
Correspondent reports that people from all works of life made the burial merriment as PA Nwanchor Nweke was a known hard worker, community leader, dedicated Christian, and role model to a lot of people in their area.
Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Umahi in his tribute described the Late Chief Peter Nwanchor Nweke as a renowned community leader, great farmer, and social crusader.
Represented by the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr Cletus Ofoke, Umahi encouraged the bereaved family to take solace in the fact that their late father left an impressive footprint on earth adding they should emulate his footprint.
In his homily, the Bishop of Abakaliki Catholic Diocese, Most Reverend Dr Peter Nworie Chukwu noted that people should always live a life worthy of emulation.
He noted that it's only God can determine the length of time one will live on earth and when the journey will be terminated.
The first son of the deceased, Justice Nwali Nwanchor said his late father was a man imbued with hardworking, dedication, patience, reliability, deep love for mankind, and selflessness and assured that those virtuous must be upheld.
Among the dignitaries were the Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Dr Kelechi Igwe, Ebonyi State Chief Judge, Justice Elvis Ngene, President of the Customary Court of Appeal, Justice P. U.
