The Association of Izzi Media Workers has lauded Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, for his visionary and pragmatic leadership that has transformed the state across multiple sectors in just two years.

In a statement jointly signed by National President Comrade Emmanuel Nwizi, Secretary General Comrade Moses Nwite, and Publicity Secretary Comrade Victor Chibueze Nwegede, the Association praised the Governor’s inclusive governance style that has fostered political unity and development.
The group highlighted the administration’s outstanding achievements in education, including generous local and international scholarships, healthcare reforms, and the payment of gratuities and pensions to retirees dating back to 1996.
They also commended Governor Nwifuru’s investments in agriculture, human capital development, and infrastructure expansion, especially in rural communities where roads, bridges, and traditional rulers' palaces are undergoing significant transformation.
Describing the Governor’s gradual but impactful implementation of his campaign manifesto, anchored on the People’s Charter of Needs, the Association expressed confidence in the brighter future being set for Ebonyi State.
Their statement also acknowledged the efforts of the First Lady, Chief Mrs. Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru, Deputy Governor Princess Patricia Onyemaechi Obila, Speaker of the State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Moses Ije Odunwa, State Chief Judge Hon. Justice Evls Ngene, and other government officials for their roles in actualizing the Ebonyi dream.
The Association extended its gratitude to the law-abiding citizens of Ebonyi State for their support and cooperation, praying for God’s guidance, protection, and strength for the Governor to continue steering the state to greater heights.
