The Commissioner five in the Ebonyi State Local Government service commission Barr. Kelvin Ituma has exchanged a marital vows with his heartthrob Mrs Cythia Ituma amidst joy.
The joyous wedding ceremony held at remeritona hotel in Abakaliki, attracted dignitaries, family members, friends and well wishers.
Speaking during the event, Governor Francis Nwifuru represented by the State Commissioner for capital city development Chief Sunday Inyima emphasized the importance of love, patience, tolerance, and mutual respect in building a lasting marriage.
Describing marriage as a "sacred union that must be jealously guarded," Governor Nwifuru encouraged the couple to prioritize unity by praying together and resolving their differences privately without external interference.
He wished them fruitful and happy marital lives, noting that a strong marriage contributes to a stable society.
While congratulating the newly wedded couple, the deputy speaker of Ebonyi State house of Assembly Rt. Hon. Chinedu Onah who chaired the occasion, prayed for the union to continue to grow in love, understanding, support for one another and also be filled with unwavering peace and harmony.
According to him" today is the beginning of a new chapter in your lives and we are happy to be part of it. We wished you lifetime of happiness and love.
On his part, the chairman of Ebonyi State local government service commission Chief Romanus Nwasum enjoined the couple to sustain the love which led to their union as husband and wife and prayed God to give them fruit of womb, good health, long life and prosperity.
In an interview, the groom Barr. Kelvin Ituma whose joy knew no bound expressed gratitude to God for fulfilling his promises upon his life especially for making the event to record huge success. " God made it possible for me to choose my beloveth, today we got married officially and I am very happy.
He expressed deep profound appreciation to the first family of the State for their unfliching support to the wedding and prayed God Almighty replenish them in millionfold.
He promised his beloved wife that the marriage would be sustained strongly to the betterment of their lives and unborn children.
Meanwhile the bride Mrs Cynthia Ituma said she married the man she dreamt of and thanked the husband for choosing her while promising of unquantifiable love upon him.
The colourful reception featured cutting of cake, music, dance, and heartfelt toasts from well-wishers who celebrated the couples' new journey.
The joyous atmosphere reflected the love and support to Barr. Kelvin Ituma and dear wife Cynthia as they embarked on this significant chapter of their lives.
