Hon. Osi emphasized that, under Governor Nwifuru’s watch, the state has witnessed unprecedented growth across critical sectors—healthcare, education, infrastructure, agriculture, and human capital development—setting a new standard for people-focused leadership anchored on the People’s Charter of Needs mantra.
He applauded the governor’s steadfast commitment to progress and development, noting the comprehensive upgrade of healthcare facilities across the state’s 13 local government areas and 171 wards, as well as the recruitment of qualified health personnel, which have significantly improved access to quality healthcare services.
Hon. Osi also praised the proactive approach to staff welfare, highlighting the employment of over 1,000 new civil servants, the prompt payment of long-outstanding gratuities and pensions, and the consistent implementation of the minimum wage—all of which have rekindled hope and restored the dignity of labor.
“Your visionary empowerment of the youth through strategic appointments, entrepreneurial funding, and vocational training has provided a solid foundation for sustainable economic growth,” he said. “Many of these empowered youths have become successful entrepreneurs and active contributors to the state’s economy.”
He further commended the administration’s ongoing efforts to transform agriculture by equipping the youth with modern farming skills and financial support, describing these initiatives as underscoring the administration’s pragmatic approach to food security and economic diversification.
“The administration’s industrialization agenda, marked by the flag-off of the Ebonyi Industrial Cluster and the revitalization of the pipeline factory, is setting the stage for Ebonyi to become a hub of innovation, enterprise, and job creation,” Hon. Osi added.
He also lauded the governor’s unwavering commitment to education—evident in increased subventions to state-owned institutions, tuition reductions, and transportation support—reflecting a deep understanding of the transformative power of education in building a knowledge-driven society.
Hon. Osi concluded by commending the supportive roles played by the First Lady, Chief Mrs. Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Nwifuru; the Deputy Governor, Princess Patricia Onyemaechi Obila; the Rt. Hon. Speaker, Moses Odunwa; the Hon. Chief Judge, Justice Elvis Ngene; other distinguished members of the National Assembly; and the good people of Anuagata Development Centre and the entire Ebonyi State. He noted that their collective resolve has been instrumental to the success of Governor Nwifuru’s administration.
