Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to strengthening child protection systems and fostering an environment that nurtures a confident and responsible generation of leaders.
In a goodwill message marking the 2027 Children’s Day celebrations, the Governor underscored the significance of this year’s theme, “Stand Up, Speak Up: Building a Bullying-Free Generation.” He described the theme as a timely call to action for all stakeholders, including parents, educators, and government officials, to create safe spaces where children’s voices are heard and valued.
Governor Nwifuru urged the children of Ebonyi and Nigeria to stand tall, speak up for themselves and others, and always act with kindness and courage. He reassured them of his government’s dedication to safeguarding their rights and ensuring access to quality education.
“We remain resolute in our efforts to promote inclusive education and support initiatives that will build a generation of young leaders who are confident, responsible, and compassionate,” the Governor said.
He concluded his message with warm wishes for a joyful and memorable Children’s Day celebration for all children across Ebonyi State.
