The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ebonyi State Chapter, has extended warm birthday wishes to the Honourable Minister of Works and former Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Nweze Umahi, as he marked his 62nd birthday on Friday 25th July 2025.
In a congratulatory message jointly signed by Comrade Ndubuisi Nwogha, Chairman, and Comrade Victor Nwegede, Acting Secretary General, the association commended Umahi’s transformative leadership, describing him as a “visionary leader whose legacy in infrastructure and national development continues to inspire.”
SWAN highlighted the former governor’s significant strides in road construction, bridge building, and institutional reforms, both in Ebonyi and at the federal level, crediting him with setting a benchmark in public service delivery.
“As he marks this remarkable milestone, SWAN Ebonyi joins millions of Nigerians in celebrating a man of excellence, resilience, and national pride,” the statement read.
“We pray for more wisdom, divine strength, and greater achievements in his journey of service to fatherland," it further hinted.
The association concluded with a heartfelt wish: “Happy birthday, Ekubaraoha! May your new age bring more accomplishments and fulfillment.”
