The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the appointment of Moses Nweze, popularly known as "Mbaco," as the new Youth Leader for the South East Zone.
The nomination, which followed wide consultations with party stakeholders across the five South East states, was confirmed by the Office of the National Vice Chairman, South East Zone.
Nweze, a former Coordinator of Onicha Development Centre and Technical Assistant to former Governor David Umahi, now Minister of Works is hailed as a leader with capacity, vision, and youth appeal.
The PDP’s South East leadership, led by Goodluck Chidiebere Egwu, expressed confidence in Nweze’s ability to mobilize young people and strengthen the party's grassroots support.
Party youths have been urged to rally behind him as he assumes his new role.
