The Luke Chibueze Adonwe Human Foundation (LACH) has formally inaugurated its Local Government Area (LGA) coordinators and urban women leader in Ebonyi State, pledging to tackle unemployment among youths and drive social reforms anchored on faith, integrity, and community service.
The inauguration, held at the foundation’s corporate office on Ojowere Street, Abakaliki, marked what its Chief Executive Officer, Barr. Luke Chibueze Adonwe, described as the beginning of a structured grassroots expansion for the organization.
He explained that the initiative would cascade from local governments to wards, polling units, and eventually to state and national levels.
Adonwe, a lawyer and philanthropist, underscored that integrity is central to the foundation’s membership, warning against cultism and what he termed “double allegiance to good and evil.”
“For you to work with LACH Foundation, you must not be a secret cult member. Even if you were before, you must renounce it and undergo rehabilitation before joining us,” he said.
“We are building a godly society where God will be pleased to dwell among us. Although we are faith-based, we welcome people of diverse religious practices without discrimination," he further stated.
According to him, the foundation will deploy diplomacy and persuasion, rather than confrontation, in addressing societal challenges, positioning itself as a “correctional centre for people.”
“Our core mission is to create employment opportunities for young people and shield them from criminal tendencies,” Adonwe added, noting that the foundation is poised to offer practical programmes that would transform lives at the grassroots.
In his remarks, Dr. Basil Okoro, a member of the foundation’s executive, described LACH as a non-profit organization with a strong commitment to equipping young people with relevant skills for self-reliance.
He appealed to the public and stakeholders to support the initiative, assuring that its activities would significantly benefit youths across Ebonyi State.
The inauguration attracted stakeholders and community representatives, who expressed optimism that the foundation’s intervention could contribute to addressing pressing socio-economic challenges in the state.
