BREAKING: Investors storm Ebonyi for 2021 AFI Awards

As Ebonyi hosts the 2021 African Industry Awards (AFI Awards) today, different investors have thronged the state for the programme.

While addressing newsmen in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Business Development, Dr. Stephen I.  Odoh, commended the efforts of Governor David Nweze Umahi for a leveling environment created for investors to thrive in the state.

Dr. Odoh commended the Governor for his giant strides in infrastructural development and his effort in making Ebonyi State the industrial hub of Nigeria.

He urged the teaming investors to feel free and invest massively in the state, assuring them of accessibility to all social amenities and adequate security for their successful business outing.

Responding, the representative of IBETO group of Company, Mr. Ifeogor Kingsley commended the State Government for their resolve to host the AFI Award. 

He eulogized the state government for all the enabling environment created for investors in Ebonyi State.

Also speaking to the the representative of Vinglobal, Prince Onwuka assured of his company's resolve to invest in Ebonyi State. He was amazed with the level of development in Ebonyi State.

NATIONAL PANEL gathered the presence of the representatives of various companies which included Evans group of company, Splendid Furniture, Edon Group of Company LTD, Vinglobal, 1xbet, Letshego Bank, TATA, among others.

AFI Award event is expected to commence at exactly 3pm today with industrial tour of all projects of Ebonyi State government with the investors, AFI Organising Team and  the Hon. Commissioner while the award ceremony will be commencing fully immediately after the industrial tour.
