A Senate aspirant in Ebonyi Central Senatorial District, Arc. Christian Asaga Nwali, popularly known as C-Sagas, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Nwali announced his resignation in a letter dated May 1, 2026, addressed to the Ward Chairman of the party in Ekpelu Ward, Ikwo Local Government Area.
In the letter trending on the social media, he said his decision was personal and followed careful consideration.
“I write to formally tender my resignation as a member of the All Progressives Congress, effective immediately,” he stated.
He expressed appreciation to the party for the opportunity to serve as a member.
“I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences I have had during my time in the party,” he added.
Nwali requested that his resignation be accepted as official notice of his withdrawal from all party activities and responsibilities.
Party officials in the ward had yet to respond to the development as of the time of filing this report.
