Speaker Nwifuru bows down, receiving elderly blessings from Senator Chris Nwankwo.
The Honourable Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has felicitated with the former Senator representing Ebonyi North Senatorial District at National Assembly, Sen. Chris Nwankwo for his 80th birthday anniversary holding tomorrow, Friday 1st October, 2021.
Nwifuru in his congratulatory message which was made available to NATIONAL PANEL on Thursday, extolled Senator Nwankwo with one of his popular traditional titles, 'Ozuohu' and described him as the latest Octogenarian of the moment.
The goodwill message reads: "I am super thrilled in absolute joy, to congratulate you, very highly, our own father, mentor and patriarch - *Most Distinguished Sen. Chief Chris Chukwuma Nwankwo, mni;* as you clock a glorious 80 years today.
"Words fail me each time to describe in clear terms, how much you mean to our people and the entire State. You have in no minimal measure contributed to the growth of numerous people both within and outside Izzi clan.
"You’re indeed a patriarch whose presence commands and oozes dignity, respect and honour. In you, we have an ocean of wisdom, one which our throats are always thirsty to savour. It is no surprise that at all times, we harken to your wise counsel and relish your alluring presence.
"Today, you have joined an extraordinary octogenarian league, for whom the Lord in His Holy Words of Psalm 90:10 exalted in the saying that, “Our length of days is Seventy years, or Eighty for those who are strong”. Indeed, you have ticked the boxes of both the strong and blessed people in heaven and on earth.
"It is my sincerest prayer that God Almighty will sustain your strength to have you ever afresh and aglow in mind, body and to keep you in His love, so that we will continue to drink from the fount of your wisdom.
"Therefore, I congratulate you today, Ozuoha, on behalf of my respectable family, Floor Functionaries, Honourable Members and indeed the entire staff of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, as you mark 80 years of your birth today.
"Once more, many congratulations and Happy Birthday, Most Distinguished."
