The Oyo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Saturday, took another dimension as the members held parallel ward congresses following the crisis denegerated by the two factions within the party.
NATIONAL PANEL gathered that, a faction loyal to Oyo Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and the other led by Alhaji Nureni Akanbi held parallel congresses in the state.
It was also gathered that the home of a factional leader of the party, Alhaji Nureni Akanbi, came under attack in the early hours of yesterday.
Meanwhile, a group within the Oyo State PDP called the 'Oyo PDP like-minds,' has raised alarm over alleged complicity of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the state.
The allegations came from the Co-ordinator of the group, Adewale Kolawole, while speaking with presemen in Ibadan, the state capital.
