The Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Rt. Hon. Anayo Edwin-Nwonu (Anatex) made this statement to the Nwapalis in Mgbuoba-By-Location, Portharcourt, Rivers State, on Friday, 24th September, 2021 during the obsequies held in honour of the matriarch of the Nwapalis who passed on to the great beyond at the age of 72.
Edwin-Nwonu, a ranking representative of Ezza North/Ishielu Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Abuja, advised both the Odiis and Nwapalis not to mourn like people who have no hope. The vibrant law-maker whose ambition to lead Ebonyi State from 2023 was anchored on God's will rather charged them to "spark up the celebration of the life and times of our departed matriarch who was a humble woman of God who ran both her life race and ministry with due diligence and left behind enviable legacies; and so deserves unending celebrations".

The federal legislator who, like Chief Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, is a stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, disclosed his mission at the obsequies of Mother RuthLove Nwapali in Mgbuoba-By-Location, Portharcourt. According to Edwin-Nwonu, "I have come here to celebrate the rich and ever-green donations in the life of our matriarch and not to mourn her. We all know that in life, what matters is the donation and not the duration. Positive testimonies of the overflowing donations in the life of our matriarch who lived as a home-maker, christian mother, community-leader, charity-worker, pillar of encouragement and humble shepherd of the Lord's sheep abound. Hence, the Lord blessed her with two years beyond the three-scores and ten years stated in Psalm 90:10.

"There is no doubt that we all desire our matriarch's continued presence, prayers and maternal guidance, but when God in His infinite wisdom calls His general to a better and deserved rest which mortals cannot provide, we cannot query God. Therefore, I charge you and your lovely wife as well as all the Nwapalis and all of us affected by the glorious departure of our dear mother to join angels at heaven's gate to chant canticles and make joyful noises to herald the return of a worthy pilgrim, Pastor (Mrs) RuthLove Nwapali, to the bosom of her maker".
Rt. Hon. Anayo Edwin-Nwonu concluded by praying God to grant Mother RuthLove Nwapali a peaceful repose; and to grant Mama's survivors, especially Chief and Mrs Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, the fortitude to bear the gap arising from Mama's departure. Pastor RuthLove Nwapali, a minister of Redeemed Christian Church of God and the mother of the amiable wife of Chief Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii, transited to the great beyond on 10th August, 2021 at the age of 72.
