Ebonyi State Caretaker Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Fred Udeogu, on Saturday, said that all arrangements have been made by the party to ensure rancour free of its ward congress, today, in the state.
He stated this at Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State Capital while briefing newsmen on their preparedness for the ward congress.
Udeogu said the party is committed in its effort to ensure the ward congress in the state, ends peaceful.
He also assured that the PDP's local government and state congresses would follow suite, though scheduled in separate dates, according to the party's calendar.
Udeogu said, the party stakeholders in the state were all backed home for the congress.
He noted that the obedient nature of the party faithfuls, is encouraging and has contributed lots to the peaceful conduct of the congress, saying the party officials from the national level and the security agencies were all set for the exercise.
He therefore, advised the party members and its supporters to continue being committed to ensuring the progress of the party is not jeopardized in the state.
