He made this known on the World Peace Day while addressing presemen in Abakaliki on the importance of building a peaceful nation.
Emegha who is also the Caretaker Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Ebonyi State urged individuals especially the leaders of various organizations to consider a sacrificial service in every relationship starting from their respective families as a very pivotal ingredient for the nation building.
He further urged people to shun crisis by being promoters of love, peace and unity in the society no matter the levels of their positions.
His words: "To be very honest, crisis is a wound that blows nobody any good. It's better even with your enemy to live in peace, try to be in peace with whosever you identify as an enemy.
"In a relationship, it's only one person that holds the relationship between the two. Accept to be that person who is always ready to sacrifice for the progress of the relationship, with your neighbours, friends, well-wishers and even your enemies for the interest of the entire society.
"Let me tell you obviously, whenever you remember that you are in enmity with anybody, your body system will change. No matter the amount of flavour you put in your food, the appetite will no go off.
No matter the gravity of the alcohol you take, it will only be weakening your veins and the alcohol content will no longer be there, only because you remember somebody you see as your enemy.
"So, do as much as you can to reduce your enemies, to live in peace with people, because it goes a long way in increasing your life span and by extension, promote a peaceful society.
"If you are moving now very freely, when you go back to the house, you sleep very freely. But if you have somebody as an enemy, you will be having a sleeplessness night. So, let's always try as much as we can to be at peace with our fellow human beings especially those around us."
The Special Security Consultant equally advised people to be God fearing by standing on the path of truth while taking any decision for the progress of the society.
He commended the leadership of Governor David Nweze Umahi, whom described as a leader with unbeatable records in peace initiative with other developmental policies and programmes since the creation of Ebonyi State.
"Sometimes, keeping faith with God doesn't mean you must see God with your naked eyes, but to always stand on the path of the truth. Sometimes, it is painful, but it needs a lot of sacrifices. We are aware of how this state was. We are already on relegation, somebody who has not completed eight years, just moving around Ebonyi State now, you will see what the Governor has be able to do within six years is unbelievable. I'm not saying this because I'm serving in his government, but I'm saying it because I want to respect my conscience.
"That, it is very difficult to get a governor who is serving out, two years to his exit from office and still embarking on new projects and determines to complete them. It is unseen. It's not all about praising the governor because I have served many governors. I said, this particular time supposed to be a time the man will be thinking how to pack things. Just take a walk to other neighbouring states, you come back here and clap for the man. In Ebonyi you see new Exco-members, her Excellency's office, so many lofty projects prepared for another person to come and enjoy, including airport, flyovers, quality roads, and many others. In considering his passion to develop this state, I assure you that the governor's successor if he does a maintenance culture will be the best governor at his time," he said.
He however, advised people to desist from engaging themselves on destructive criticism against government in power, stressing that those having privileges to occupy public offices should equally be using their positions to enthrone peace and harmony instead of creating enmity in the society.
The State APC Boss also assured of a peaceful conduct of the party's state congress on 2nd October in Ebonyi, applauding his members for toeing the lines of peace during the ward and local government congresses and maintained that the state congress would be more transparent, free and credible.
