Ebonyi State Governor Engr. David Umahi has congratulated prof Chuks Ogbaga, son of the former minister of State for Power and Steel Chief Goddy Ogbaga for his successful wedding ceremony at Holy Trinity Parish Maitama, Abuja.
The Governor who was represented at the event by his Deputy Brr. Kelechi Igwe described the marriage of the couple as unique and a welcome development.
He enjoined them to build their family with high level of mutual relationship, love, peace and tolerance to guarantee a happy home, while praying God to bless them with fruit of womb, good health, long life, prosperity among others.
In a homily, the Aux Bishop Abuja, Bishop Umoren advised the wedded couple to persistently show love and accommodation to each other and also put their trust in God for a successful marital life, adding that marriage was made for companionship and procreation.
On his part, the special assistant to President Mohammadu Buhari on Media Femi Adesina encouraged the couple to be good ambassadors of their family that others would emulate.
Earlier in his remarks, the chairman of the occasion Senator Julius Ucha admonished the new wedded couple to be settling issues amicably and avoid introducing third parties in their family.
Meanwhile, the event drew the presence of prominent personalities including the Senator representing Ebonyi North Zone Senator Sam Egwu, Minister of Science and Technology Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, Minister of Power Engr. Abubakar Aliyu represented by the director of Transmission Engr. Nosike, Chairman Revenue Mobilization, Allocation and Fiscal Commission Chief Elias Mbam, Former Speaker house of Reps Mrs Patricia Ette, Former Leader House of Reps Hon. Mulikat Adeola.
Also in attendance were present and past Senators, House of Rep Members, Ambassadors, Ministers including business moguls across the Country and beyond.
