Former Governor and presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party, PDP is currently receiving loads of requests from Nigerians on his Twitter handle after he posted a photo of himself shopping for Nigerian made clothes in Toga Fashion House, China.
In exactly 14 mins of tweeting that he's shopping Nigerian at Toga Fashion House, his handle welcomed 45 comments 39 retweets and 255 likes. All from Nigerians asking him to come back home, not just coming back home, but to come back and get into the presidential race.
A quick analyses showed that over 98% were appealing to Peter Obi to declare interest in contesting for Presidency in 2023. Many went as fat as telling him that he should not waste time shopping when the country needs him at the presidency.
Nobody paid attention to the fact that the politician was trying to make sure it was Nigerian wears he bought even while outside of the country. Few or only a handful appreciated him for shopping Nigerian in China, everyone's attention was drawn to politics and his presidential declaration.
Recall that Chief Peter Obi ran as vice president alongside Atiku Abubarkar during the 2019 presidential election under the People's Democratic Party, PDP but lost to the ruling party All Progressive Congress, APC.
