Comrade Nwovu who gave this advice during the Foundation's first meeting of the year in Abakaliki Local Government Area, commended the founder of the foundation, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his numerous impacts in the society and outlined several reasons for endorsing his candidature.
The National President who encouraged members of the foundation to continue supporting their Grand Patron and the government in power, also identified infidelity and lack of unity of purpose as some of the major factors that usually act as barriers in achieving a common goal.
In his remarks, the Chairman, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru Foundation (FON) who doubles as the Treasurer, Onwa Oferekpe Foundation in Abakaliki L.G.A, Mr. Amaechi Nwali, while hosting the meeting in his residence in Abakaliki, expressed his love with the charismatic dispositions of Rt. Hon Ogbonna Nwifuru, especially in view of his antecedents as a Speaker in Ebonyi State House of Assembly, where his indelible footprints will remain a shinning example for others to emulate.
He pledged his undiluted solidarity and the unflinching support of all the good people of Enyigba in making sure that Mr. Speaker emerges the next governor of the state, stressing that all the active players in Enyigba community are already standing with him.
Similarly, the National Chairman, Onwa Oferekpe Foundation, Hon. Kenneth Nwovu, thanked the Host of the meeting and all the executive members of the foundation for their commitment and steadfastness in piloting the affairs of the foundation in Abakaliki L.G.A, and encouraged all the members never to backslide in advancing the course of their set target.
The National Chairman who hammered on the need for action plans, also pointed out that the project of securing the number one seat for their Grand Patron was very sacrosanct and feasible, especially in consideration of the existing and workable equity in zoning the governorship slot of the state.
In his part, the Chairman of the foundation in Abakaliki Local Government, Mr. Paul Igwe Nwachukwu, extolled the leadership ingenuity of Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, whom he described as an advocate of good governance and grassroot politician, who has demonstrated his competence in leading Ebonyians to the next level of sociopolitical and economic prosperity.
He reiterated the readiness of the people of Abakaliki Local Government to always be at the forefront of drumming support for the actualization of all the aims and objectives of Onwa Oferekpe in Abakaliki LGA.
