The 2023 guber aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ebonyi, Dr Augustine Nwazunku Alugbala, has procured forms, showing his readiness to aspire for the state governorship position.
"I'm very pleased to inform you, Sir of the procurement of the full package of my Ebonyi 2023 gubernatorial aspirant forms on 18th March 2023 at PDP National Secretariat Abuja as shown above. To God be all the glory. Thanks for everything, Sir. Dr Nwazunku Augustine Alugbala," he said.
He had earlier in an interview with our Correspondent in Abakaliki town disclosed his concluded plan to give the best of dividends of democracy, which any state would pray to have at this contemporary age for Ebonyi people come 2023.
Nwazunku, the former Secretary of Ebonyi State Agency for Control of Aids, (EBOSACA) maintained that his intention to run for the state governorship position come 2023 was to explore and harness the untapped resources for rapid development for the citizens.
According to him, the right man for the gubernatorial job in the state should be an experienced and proactive person with an inexhaustible spirit to encourage the community service providers, who understand the feelings and needs of the people, regardless of their locations.
“I have sojourned through the civil service for 35 years and as a health expert and community service provider, I have interacted with the people and understood their challenges.
“I have discovered that there are unfinished businesses in Ebonyi State. There are galloped businesses. There are potentials that God has endowed us in this state and not even been scratched, it is time to harness them,” Nwazunkwu hinted.
The guber aspirant promised that he would deploy a new technique to address the needs of the Ebonyi people if elected as the governor of the state.
Nwazunku noted that everyone in the state has different needs, and promised to address them accordingly if given the opportunity in 2023.
