It was a moment of glamour and glitz as the daughter of Reverend Joseph Nwibo, the Minister in charge of Nigeria Reformed Church in Abakaliki, former Miss Precious Nwibo now Precious Ukouma tied a nuptial knot with her heartthrob, Ugochukwu Ukouma, in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State Capital.
The ceremony which was held at the Akanu Ibiam International Conference Center, Abakaliki, drew the presence of government officials including the member representing Ebonyi North West State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Victor Smoke Aleke, the Commissioner for Education, Dr Sunday Nwangele, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Austin Edeze, former Senior Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor on Higher Education, Professor Adaeze Nwuzor, religious leaders, friends and well-wishers.
Reverend Joseph Nwibo who is the father of the bride appreciated God for joining the couple together as husband and wife and poured encomiums to those who attended the event for celebrating with them.
Rev. Nwibo advised the couple to anchor their faith in God despite challenges, prioritize love and avoid introducing the third party in their family affairs, while encouraging the intending couples to always look out the best to guarantee peace in their families and wished the new family longevity of life, good health, prosperity, fruit of the womb, among others.
The groom, Ugochukwu Ukouma who described his relationship with his wife as a love journey, expressed joy over their happy beginning as a couple.
According to him, "the journey thus wasn't something you just define with a sentence, but the end thereof is that I am smiling in love."
The bride, Precious Ukouma, said she was lucky to have gotten married to her best friend and also prayed for other single ladies to find a friend to be joined together with them.
"The most important part of this to me is walking down the aisle with my best friend, I wish people would get married to their friends as well, to enjoy the fruits of a happy home," she said.
The couple showered accolades of love on each other and promised to continue on the paths of love towards building a happy home.
The couple was also gifted with a brand new car.
