The ongoing Greater Nigeria Conference, GNC at the Executive Hall in International Conference Center, Abuja will unravel the fate of the South-East Geopolitical region on the presidential slot in 2023.
The Special Assistant to the Ebonyi State Governor on Media and Publicity, Mr Francis Nwaze disclosed this on Monday through his confirmed social media wall.
He said the conference was organised to uphold equity, justice and fairness with the intent to make sure that every political party especially the All Progressives Congress (APC) Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and any emergent third force cede their presidential candidates to the South-East zone by 2023.
According to him, "the Chairman of South-East Governors Forum, His Excellency Governor David Nweze Umahi, Governor of Ebonyi State and the All Progressives Congress, APC leading Presidential Aspirant, attends Greater Nigeria Conference, GNC ongoing at the Executive Hall, International Conference Center, Abuja.
"The conference as seen is organized to uphold Equity, Justice, and Fairness, with the intent to make sure that every Political Party, especially the two major political parties and any emergent Third Force will cede their Presidential candidates to the South-East zone that by 2023, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will be of South Eastern Nigeria extraction.
"It is expected that all the Presidential Aspirants from South-East Zone will be unveiled with Video Documentaries and responses and this will be anchored by Prof. Chinedu Nebo, CON, and Dr Uju Agomoh after which Dr Joe Abah and Ferdinand Agu will present the Great Nigeria Communique.
"Other Presidential Aspirants across parties in attendance include Chris Ngige, Sen. Rochas Okorocha, Sen. Anyim Pius Anyim, Caroline Nwosu, Sam Ohuabunwa, etc.
"Dignitaries in attendance include Chief Achike Udenwe, Prof ABC Nwosu, Prof. Chinedu Nebo, Sen. Ben Obi, Chief Okwesiri Eze Nwodo, Sen. Victor Umeh, Iyom Josephine Anenih, Rt. Hon. Francis Nwifuru, Hon. Chinedu Ogah, among others."
