The Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Ebonyi State Chapter, Chief El-Stevens Okorouka has debunked rumours made around the towns that there was an alleged massive defection of the party members to the PDP in the state within the weekend.
Okorouka who clarified this in Abakaliki said that the attention of his party had been drawn to what he described as 'deceitful media posts made by mischief makers in which they alleged that APGA Secretary, Youth Leader decamped with the masses to join the People's Democratic Party, PDP.'
His words: "It has become expressly imperative that the leadership of APGA correct these ominous impressions and deleterious misrepresentations being peddled on cyberspace against our party.
"We deem it necessary, therefore, to categorically state that these so alleged members are not recognized members of our party and cannot produce membership cards of our party on cross-examination.
"All the executives, members and stakeholders of APGA are all intact, focused and working together to take over the Ebonyi State government house come 2023."
