From Victor Nwegede, Abakaliki
One of the frontline gubernatorial Aspirants under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ebonyi State, Dr Ezeh Emmanuel Ezeh has advised the party delegates to be wary of those seeking their votes come 2023 general elections.
He gave this advice yesterday at Abakaliki when he met with the PDP delegates of Ebonyi LGA.
Dr Ezeh, the Chairman of the Immaculate Group of Companies noted that he has all it takes to clinch the gubernatorial seat, urging the delegates to give him their support.
He described the delegates as the deciders of whom to carry the party's flag in the 2023 forthcoming general elections.
He assured them of keeping in touch with them regularly before the process.
He reiterated his seven points agenda, saying that they have the People's focus as the number one.
He maintained that his administration will be for the people first, insisting that he is all-around qualified to take Ebonyi State to a greater height to the point of competing with other states in the world, not just Nigeria.
The governorship hopeful maintained that he would make sure that Ebonyi State becomes the pivot of the South-East.
According to him, "my administration will make Ebonyi State a home for all; where people will be free to come in and invest thereby, encouraging development and make Ebonyi the industrial hub of South-East."
The Oxford-trained entrepreneur admitted that he is ready to employ all his wisdom and wealth of knowledge to advance the state.
He told the delegates and all his supporters to hold him by his words if given the mandate.
"I want you to remind me what I am saying today. I don't make promises," Eze hinted.
Ezeh further said that he is not buying their support with money but if money is the issue he is also equal to the task.
He obliged the delegates to check his antecedents, and evaluate what he has done on his own as a businessman.
"Judge people coming with what they have done with the public offices, what they have held and the ones they are holding now," he opined.
He also encouraged the delegates to watch different aspirants and make sure they do not give their mandate to someone who can not hold his office, noting that If such a person is elected, it means that people by their side will be the ones running the office.
