Ebonyi State Governorship Aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Architect Dr Edward Nkwegu has congratulated the people of the state, South East Zone and Nigeria at large, on this year's Easter celebration.
Architect Nkwegu's Easter message was contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Abakaliki on Saturday by the EDON Media team.
He expressed hope that just as the period of Easter brings salvation to mankind, the period would also serve as a moment of spiritual rejuvenation and solution to pockets of disturbances in Ebonyi State and beyond.
Architect Nkwegu who described Easter as a period of sober reflection, called for fervent prayers by adherents for the continued peace and stability of Ebonyi State, South East Zone and Nigeria at large.
"Easter to us as Christians is a moment of spiritual rebirth. A time for us to take stock of our relationship with our maker and make amends where possible for a continued peaceful relationship," Nkwegu said.
