BY NATIONAL PANEL REPORTERS
Ebonyi State Chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA has proved to be false the media posts alleging the defection of its members to the People's Democratic Party, PDP a few days ago.
This was contained in a statement issued and endorsed by the APGA State Chairman, Chief. El-Stevens Okorouka and the Publicity Secretary, Nwanchor Chibuike Nwanchor, made available to journalists, Sunday in Abakaliki.
APGA in the statement described the party members' defection rumour to the PDP as a handiwork of the mischief-makers.
The statement read: "The attention of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Ebonyi State Chapter has been drawn to the deceitful media posts made by mischief makers in which they alleged that APGA Secretary, Youth Leader decamped with the masses to join the People's Democratic Party, PDP."
"It has become expressly imperative that the leadership of APGA correct these ominous impressions and deleterious misrepresentations being peddled on cyberspace against our party. We deem it necessary, therefore, to categorically state that these so alleged members are not recognized members of our party and cannot produce membership cards of our party on cross-examination.
"All the executives, members and stakeholders of APGA are all intact, focused and working together to take over the Ebonyi State government house come 2023."
