The leadership of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo under the watch of Mazi Damian Okafor has felicitated with the Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly following his emergence as the 2023 APC gubernatorial flag bearer in the state.
Okafor in a statement made available to journalists in Abakaliki, described Nwifuru as the Best Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly ever had following his track records and adjudged his excellent performance was the booster to his overwhelming victory during the primary, yesterday at Pa Ngele Oruta Stadium Abakaliki.
The youth leader said: "Sir, Your victory did not come to us as a surprise because it is a product of hard work, dedication and enthusiasm which is made manifest as you headed the most peaceful and productive House of Assembly in the history of Ebonyi State.
"Worthy of note is the peaceful and cordial relationship between the Executive and Legislature which has kept the state on a constant path of prosperity.
"Time will fail me to mention your numerous Youth empowerments which have authenticated your love and kindness to the Youth constituency.
"Without uncertainty, You deserve this and I can't consider anyone better for this position than you.
"Your hard work, assurance and enthusiasm have finally paid off! We are much obliged to you for everything you have done for the prosperity of our dear state and we are committed to giving you our best to ensure the success of the general election. Once again, congratulations!"
