Dr Ezeh Emmanuel Ezeh, the leading Ebonyi PDP Governorship Aspirant has appealed to his party delegates for their support in the forthcoming primary election, with the assurance that his victory would give rise to another amazing outing at the 2023 polls for greater celebration.
Ezeh, in his passionate statement, as the PDP gubernatorial primaries drew closer, said on Tuesday, that he remained committed to transforming Ebonyi if he emerges governor in 2023, as his agenda is for a positive change in the entire state.
According to the PDP governorship hopeful, "I know many aspirants have reasons why they joined this race but I am going to briefly talk about mine.
"I am from a poor background and I have been a grassroots person, having noticed that Ebonyi state has been backward in its human capital development and lacks most social amenities needed for healthy living, I thought about it for a while and decided to take this bold step.
"It was never for fame, or wealth hunt or connections… No! I have tasted the aforementioned but now crave the service to my people, humanity and my fatherland! The fact that Ebonyi State has been backward in most areas of human important needs cannot be overemphasized.
"There has been lack of human capital development, lack of basic social amenities, lack of educational empowerment, little or no support to small and medium enterprise, no sustainable empowerment to our graduates who couldn’t find a job in the competitive labour market, no meaningful skill acquisition centres, no support for our artisans etc coming from the state government.
"The aforementioned was my motivation and my quest to put things right. I have my experience in Community Development Initiatives and have gained sufficient training from world-class Oxford University with greater plans that will end poverty and massively create jobs for our teeming population and gain our way into sustainable economic development.
"My appeal is to PDP Delegates of Ebonyi state extraction. They have the key to opening Ebonyi's state to the world and I pray they use it wisely. It is indeed their privilege and opportunity to right the wrongs of the past and grant PDP a path to victory.
"My beloved PDP Delegates, the key in your hands can open the pathway to Ebonyi state glory. What you have is the key that will have positive impacts on your children’s future, your future, and the future of Ebonyi state and Nigeria at large if used diligently.
